Storage guidelines
In order to be a space for learning and tool access, we cannot provide unlimited storage for all member materials and projects. Storage is available on a very limited basis and is encouraged to be used only when necessary. An abandoned storage bin does not support our mission.
Single Storage Bin: $10/mo allows members to store items in a 12 gallon storage bin. Bins are provided. All member items must fit inside the bin with the lid closed completely. Storage bins can be reserved online if they are available and will auto-bill monthly until canceled. Once you have made a reservation, select an empty bin from the member storage rack (one with no name on it) and label the bin with your bin membership card. Out of consideration to others in the community you may reserve a maximum of 2 bins, however, you may request more if necessary.
No dangerous chemicals, explosives, illegal substances, or other unlawful items are allowed.
Temporary Work-in-Progress Storage:
Occasionally, an item that is drying or curing may need to remain at the makerspace overnight or while being worked on. This is allowed at no charge on a very temporary basis. Items in mid-production should be clearly labeled with the appropriate parking permits or a copy of your membership card. You must indicate maker’s name, contact info, date of return, and any instructions should the item need to be moved to accommodate other members or students. Items left should be placed out of the way and tended to within 24 hours; the maximum amount of time a project should remain at the makerspace in total is 1 week unless arrangements are made. We want to see incremental progress on projects in the shop. Projects that are stalled must be removed from the space.

Unattended Items
After you cancel your bin subscription you must clean out your bin immediately and remove any nametags. Any items left in a bin after cancellation will be immediately disposed of or claimed by the new owner.
Items left at the makerspace that do not utilize any of the available storage options will be either discarded or offered up for member use. For the success and well-being of all, items left out even accidentally cannot be maintained or stored without going through the proper channels.
